Turf

 

In the early fall of 2019, some of our most loyal clients asked us if we could provide turf care on their properties to compliment the plant health care programs we had in place. And so, our Turf Department was born! After a successful 2020 season we brought on Justin Adams, a 15-year veteran of golf course maintenance and management. Justin leads our Turf Care Department and shares his passion for all things turf (and especially turf-type tall fescue thanks to its drought tolerance) with our clients and our team.

Justin’s approach is to minimize our reliance on traditional products, leaning on organic options where possible. Through monitoring and proactive treatments, we are able to stay ahead of issues and promote vigorous, healthy turf.

Organic Turf Care Program

The organic turf program is our building block for developing the soil biology and structure required for healthy soil to produce quality turfgrass. Our knowledgeable turf care professionals have developed the program and chosen the treatments to promote healthy turf.  The program is a series of seasonal fertilizer applications with premium organic compost. 

Base Turf Care Program

Our knowledgeable turf care professionals have developed the program and chosen the treatments to promote healthy turf.  The program centers around seasonal fertilizer applications with premium organic compost and environmentally sustainable nitrogen sources to further reduce the need for synthetic products and pesticides on your property.

Signature Turf Program

An integrated approach to organic-based turf care promoting healthy turf and soil through consistent inspection, monitoring and targeted treatments. The program focuses on improving soil biology and nutrient availability through the use of premium organic and environmentally sustainable products. Biologically active soils support robust turf performance, while reducing the use of synthetic products and pesticides. Our proactive approach and frequency of visits throughout the growing season allow us to more effectively manage turfgrass quality.
